About Us
Rhona has spent the past 17 years immersed in the world of luxury jewellery, mastering the art of diamonds, gemstones, and the craftsmanship behind truly exceptional pieces. In 2017, she founded The Diamond Expert, driven by a desire to create bespoke fine jewellery with a more personal, meaningful approach.
Known as people’s own private jeweller, Rhona has built a reputation for an unparalleled client experience - warm, patient, knowledgeable, and entirely bespoke. From the all-important engagement and wedding ring to eternity rings, tennis bracelets, earrings and beyond, every client and every piece we create holds deep significance for us. We cherish each encounter and are honoured to be part of your most treasured moments.
In 2023, Rhona’s sister Orla joined the business as COO, bringing over 20 years’ global corporate experience from London and Dubai. With her fresh perspective and eye for contemporary jewellery design, Orla’s style complements Rhona’s more timeless aesthetic. Together, they now offer handmade fine jewellery to clients around the world, combining their distinct styles and shared commitment to excellence.

We never compromise on quality - and nor should you. Every piece we create is a reflection of the care, precision, and expertise that defines The Diamond Expert. From our in-house design team to our dedicated workshop of master craftsmen, we oversee every stage of the process under one roof to ensure the highest possible standards.
Every diamond is hand-selected to meet our strict criteria. We use only exceptionally white stones with incredible brilliance and fire. Because when it comes to fine jewellery, sparkle matters - and we want others to see it from across the room!
Our natural diamonds are GIA-certificated, conflict-free, and responsibly sourced. Our laboratory-grown diamonds are IGI certificated, Type IIA - the purest type of lab grown diamonds. Each stone comes with its own certificate, and every finished piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Our coloured gemstones are sourced from all over the world and we offer expert advice in choosing the right one for you.
We craft using only the finest 18ct gold - white, yellow or rose, and 950 platinum. Chosen for their superior strength, lustre and longevity, our metals ensure every piece is built to last a lifetime.
