How to Measure a Ring Size
Finding the perfect ring size is an essential, but sometimes confusing job! It is also personal to you as some people prefer a looser fit and some prefer a more snug fit. It is important to remember that hands can swell and slim with temperature changes. Rings can feel tight if your hands are hot, or loose if your hands are cold, so it’s important that your hands are at their most neutral temperature when sizing for a ring.
Rhona’s Golden Rule for knowing the correct ring size is “A push on and a wiggle off.”
You should give the ring a bit of a push over the knuckle and a wiggle off over the knuckle. This way, the ring will sit comfortably and won’t spin around.
Here are our recommended ways to find out your finger size:
-
You can visit us or any reputable jeweller to be measured in person. High Street jewellers will offer a measuring service free of charge or for a small fee, and will be able to confirm your perfect fit. Remember Rhona’s Golden Rule, and also inform the jeweller if you are measuring for a wide or narrow ring, as this does affect the size. A wider band will feel tighter than a slim band in the same finger size.
-
You can wrap a piece of paper around your finger, measure it in millimetres and contact us with the measurement for guidance on your correct size.

You can order this ring sizing kit from Amazon, which is accurate for International and European ring sizes. It doesn't have half sizes, but if you are in between sizes, we do offer half and even quarter sizes.
