Shipping, Returns, Repairs & Adjustments
Shipping
Lead time is 3-4 weeks from the date of order, but if you need your jewellery sooner than our estimated delivery time, please contact us as we will always try our very best to meet your needs. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for any shipping delays that may occur. We recommend giving yourself at least a three-day buffer from when you need your package in your hands.
Customer Responsibility for Sending Items
If you choose to send jewellery to us for any reason, you do so at your own risk and are solely responsible for ensuring the item is securely packaged, tracked, and delivered. Alternatively, you may arrange to hand-deliver your jewellery to us in person by prior appointment.
Returns
We hope you absolutely love your piece of jewellery! However, if for any reason you change your mind, you can return or exchange your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, providing the piece is in the same saleable condition and in the original packaging. Simply contact us and we will discuss next steps with you. All returns and exchanges require prior agreement with a member of The Diamond Expert team.
We do not accept returns for lab grown diamonds.
In the event of an exchange, once we have agreed next steps with you, we will begin production of your new item which will be ready within 2-4 weeks. We ask that you return the item by a tracked and traced method and the item(s) be sent back to us in their original packaging.
Repairs & Adjustments
In the event that you experience a manufacturing fault with your piece of jewellery, we offer a lifetime complimentary repair service (this does not include broken claws). If the fault is from accident, negligence or wear and tear, we will gladly arrange the repair, but the work associated with it will be payable by the customer. An independent goldsmith will assess the damage of your piece and issue a report. We never mark up our repair costs. Once our goldsmith has assessed the damage, you will receive a quote before any work is carried out.
Any ring size adjustments can be arranged directly with us and the cost associated will be payable by the customer unless it is an error on our part. We commit to have your repairs back to you within 2-4 weeks (depending on the work involved). Repairs requiring international shipping will be charged for two-way shipping.
