How I Style Jewellery Together: My Favourite Sets and Jewellery Pairings
There was a time when a matching jewellery set meant wearing the exact same necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring together.
For me, the best matching jewellery feels far more considered than that. The pieces have a connection, whether it's the setting, the shape of the diamonds, the proportions or the design language, but each piece should still be strong enough to wear on its own.
I have always loved jewellery that gives you options. A necklace you can wear every day but dress up with the matching bracelet. A ring that looks beautiful alone but completely different when you add a band beside it. Earrings that subtly pick up a detail from the necklace you're wearing without everything feeling too coordinated.
It's one of the reasons we design so many of our pieces as part of a wider jewellery wardrobe.
You don't have to buy everything at once. In fact, I quite like the idea of building a set over time. Start with the piece you know you'll wear most, then add to it for birthdays, anniversaries or simply when you feel ready for the next one.
These are some of my favourite combinations from our collection.
The Tennis Necklace and Bracelet
You really cannot talk about matching diamond jewellery without starting with a tennis necklace and bracelet.
Sparkle Tennis Necklace and Sparkle Setting Tennis Bracelet
There is a reason these pieces have lasted for generations. A continuous line of beautifully matched diamonds is incredibly simple.
What I particularly like is that neither piece needs to be kept for an occasion.
I wear tennis jewellery with everything. A tennis bracelet with a watch and knitwear looks just as good to me as it does with a dress. The necklace works beautifully against bare skin, but I also love it with a white shirt, a simple black top or layered with a shorter gold chain.
And when you wear the necklace and bracelet together, there is a real sense of polish without having to add very much else.

If you are investing in your first substantial diamond pieces, tennis jewellery would always be very high on my list.
The Pear Diamond Ring and Wave Ring
Our Pear Ring works beautifully with the Wave Ring, it sits neatly around the shape of the centre stone rather than competing with it.
I love this pairing because the curve of the Wave Ring follows the pear shape and adds another layer of diamonds while still allowing the main ring to be the focus.
I actually wear this combination myself, so I know first-hand how well the two rings work together day to day. It is one of those stacks that feels complete without being overdone.

Worn together, the two rings feel balanced and considered, but each is strong enough to wear on its own too.
This is exactly what I look for in a good ring stack. The pieces should complement one another, fit properly together and give you the option to change the look depending on how you want to wear them.
The Constellation Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings
Our Constellation collection is probably one of the easiest examples of matching jewellery that doesn't feel overly matched.
The idea is very simple: round brilliant cut diamonds spaced across delicate gold settings, almost as though they are floating against the skin.
Graduating Constellation Necklace
The Graduating Constellation Necklace features seven round brilliant cut diamonds in delicate bezel settings, with the stones increasing in size towards the centre. It can be worn alone or layered with other necklaces.
Then you have the Constellation Bracelet, which carries that same light, scattered-diamond look onto the wrist, and the Long Constellation Earrings, which are so elegant.
What I like about these together is that there is continuity without uniformity.
You could wear all three for an evening, but equally, the necklace and bracelet together are beautiful for every day. The earrings can then come out when you want a little more impact.
This is exactly how I think matching jewellery should work. It should give you more combinations, not fewer.
The Chunky Diamond Chain, Chain Link Earrings and Bracelet
This combination is for someone who likes their jewellery with a bit more presence.
I love delicate jewellery, but I also think there should be room in a jewellery collection for pieces with weight, scale and personality.
Our Chunky Diamond Chain, Chain Link Diamond Earrings and Chain Link Bracelet all sit in that world.
The Chain Link Diamond Earrings combine solid 18ct gold links with a diamond-set link, while the Chain Link Bracelet uses the same contrast between substantial gold links and brilliant diamonds.
The Chunky Diamond Chain is substantial enough to wear alone, particularly with a simple shirt, knit or evening neckline.
I wouldn't necessarily wear every piece at the same time. Personally, I would let one be the hero.
Wear the Chunky Diamond Chain with the matching bracelet and very simple earrings. Or wear the Chain Link Earrings with the bracelet and leave the neckline clean.
That's often the difference between wearing jewellery and styling jewellery.
A matching collection gives you the freedom to choose how much you want to wear.
The Bezel-Set Emerald Cut Diamond Necklace and Ring
Emerald cut diamonds are completely different from round brilliant cuts.
They aren't about lots of tiny flashes of sparkle. Their beauty comes from those long, clean facets and the wonderful hall-of-mirrors effect you see through the stone.
Bezel Set Emerald Diamond Necklace
It is a diamond shape I particularly like in a bezel setting.
A bezel surrounds the diamond with a fine border of metal, which gives an emerald cut a very clean, contemporary finish. It also makes the outline of the stone feel even more defined.

Together, they feel polished and architectural rather than traditionally "matching".
I would wear the necklace constantly. It is the sort of piece that works with a T-shirt during the day and still looks completely right with a dress at night.
Then the ring compliments that emerald-cut shape on the hand.
Do Your Jewellery Pieces Actually Have to Match?
Absolutely not.
In fact, I think some of the most interesting jewellery combinations happen when pieces aren't technically part of the same collection at all.
What matters is that there is something connecting them.
It might be the diamond shape. The metal colour. A bezel setting. The scale of the jewellery. Or simply the fact that the designs sit well beside one another.
I regularly tell clients not to think in terms of individual pieces, but to think about their jewellery wardrobe as a whole.
- What do you already own?
- What do you wear every week?
- Where are the gaps?
And, importantly, if you are buying a new piece, what will you actually wear it with?
A beautiful piece of jewellery shouldn't create one outfit. It should open up ten.
Building a Jewellery Set Over Time
You don't need to buy a complete matching set in one go.
I actually think there is something lovely about building one gradually.
Start with the necklace you have fallen in love with. Add the bracelet for a milestone birthday. The earrings might come later. A ring could mark an anniversary.
Over time, you end up with pieces that not only work beautifully together, but also carry different memories.
From a practical point of view, it also means we can think ahead when you're choosing the first piece.

My Advice When Choosing Matching Diamond Jewellery
My starting point is always the same: choose the piece you will wear most.
Don't start with what you think you "should" buy as a set.
If you're a necklace person, start there.
If you never take your bracelets off, invest in the bracelet first.
If rings are your thing, build your stack properly and make sure every new piece earns its place.
Then you can add around it.
The best fine jewellery collections rarely appear overnight. They are built piece by piece, and that is part of what makes them personal.
